A Day To Remember

In a world where no one respects you how do you live when you are a shell of a person? do you live a lie and hope they will understand as I pray I hope that things may get better if I live another day

A Day To Remember

In a world where no one respects you
How do you live when you are a shell of a person?
Do you live a lie and hope they will understand
As I pray I hope that things may get better if I live another day

Do I give up and throw my dreams away
Should I lose my morals as I move around in silence?
As I earn my daily pay will they understand?
If the tears roll down my face

Is there any sorrow in their hearts?
As they cause so much pain
Do the thoughts run through your mind?
As you surrender to the thoughts of leaving
Would their world ever start to change?
If I die would it help to heal my pain
Would the ones I leave behind remember me?
As my spirit is broken as they turned me out in shame
Would my presence be blown away with howling of the winds?
As the rains fall upon the dusty plains
I know life is worth living but do we really need the pain
