A Ranger Upon A Starry Night

Sitting by the fire
As he camps out for the night
The ranger rests easily
As he stares up into the heavens
On this bright and starry night

As he watches closely
At this heavenly sight
A star shoots across the heavens
On this starry night

As the mountain ranger
Glistens in the beauty of the moonlight
The beauty of his surrounding
Will fill him with the gift of new life

As the sun rises
In the early morning light
He'll set out on his journey
As he rides the mountain trail
In the early morning light
