Alas Farewell To You, Good Night
Unassured but rest assured
Awkward how the simple things become
Considering all the things we've done
Was there ever any sense in running
You never really were that cunning
Nor do you have the demeanour of a delinquent
Even if you were a pleasurable trinket
Physical attraction was hard to bare
Knowing how much you really care
Taint, pleasures by feather and bow
You could have been my greatest hoe
But I know my place and I have been deceived
So now it is my time and I must leave
Forgiveness wouldn't feel that right
There is no reason to leave on the light
So alas farewell to you, good night| Poetry 1 | Poetry 2 | Poetry 3 | Poetry 4 || Poetry 5 | Poetry 6 | Poetry 7 | Poetry 8 |
