Alas You'll Be Mine
Fallen splinters of broken class
To witness the visions of the past
Footsteps written like fables
Etched across the tables
Passage be my empty hand
Within the hope you’ll understand
One thing is certain beneath the hue
To this my heart I must be true
For sheltered, and faint of heart
Beside the passage of tears impart
Speckled be thy light I see
Beneath the dawn on bended knee
Praise you‘ll be thy gentle light
Alas you’ll be mine, eternal night
