At Night I Walk Alone
Delicate sounds of thunder
Crashing rains fall upon hollowed ground
Do you feel the motion of the planet,
As the earth spins around
I walk the streets alone at night
Reflection the light of open pain
Will I be left here with my essence?
Or be torn by the current of the storm
Am I blinded by the ignorance of my mind?
Do I notice the horizon where lightening
Flashes across the heavens beneath the grey lit skies
As I walk the streets of gold am I lost within the cold?
As the winds move swiftly by me
Am I lost in my confusion as I stand here in the rain?
Is it any wonder that we walk the streets at night?
