Because I Love You So

Humble beginnings filled with feeling
As our love came into bloom
Through the passage of time
Our love has shined throughout
Tears of joy and sadness

Love has never been a bed of roses
As we sway upon the breeze
The sound of your faded heart beat
And only then shall I breathe

The beauty of our love
The essence of the rose simplistic in its nature

Just like the stars in the heavens
Our children hold the essence of our love
It is with every beat of my heart I will treasure
Them with the greatest of loves

You are the light of my heart
And the window to my soul
I will always love you
I won't ever let you go
Because I love you so
