Beneath The Southern Skies

Sweeping sounds of thunder
Surrender upon the winds
The echoes of distant waves crashing
Ring out upon the evening tide

Greyness filled with thunder
Lightening flashes and driving rains
A new day on the horizon
As the sun fades out of sight

Moonlit lines of new emotion
Crested upon the ocean waves
Will we ever change our faces
Or will we all remain the same

Opportunity with mixed emotion
The deepest of oceans lost upon the darkest shores
As the stars fade over the horizon
Will we live our lives in silence?
Beneath the southern skies tonight
