Sonnet: Beneath The Stars
Forgone no fruit to bare; yet here I stand in gentle glee
Beauty be thy women's gentle heart
Beneath the moon compare to thee
By daylight may we never be parted
Confide in me as I confide in you upon this place
To know thyself and I must confess
Never has such a beauty walked with an earthly face
Nevertheless, no fears can I express
Pursuer of hearts, hearts linger when you are near
Bathed beneath the stars in June
For it is you that I cherish dear
I adore the scent of your perfume
Beneath the stars that burn so bright
Like candles burning into the night
