Beside The Flame

Beneath the stars that burn so bright
I hope you know you are the light
That keeps me warm throughout the night

The warmth of you, my hearts desire
No mead to mend beside the fire
For you my love, radiate so bright
Essence of my heart this night
To linger here beside loves sacred flower
To warm you through the twilight hours
To light the candle that honours you
Beneath the stars that burn so true

To feel the caress of your gentle palms
As I rest within the warmth of your loving arms
Beside the flame that burns so bright
As we dance beneath twilight
