Burdens Of Fate

Caught deep within the confusion
Of what I feel and know
Longing for the feelings
That I hold deep within my heart
But am I broken to the burdens of my fate
Am I torn by the feelings of hope
When I know I am filled with deepest of despair
Does the world know what I'm feeling
Does the world even know that I care
Do I take my time
As I look to the horizon
Do they even realize that I'm there
Am I humbled by my surroundings
When I feel the essence of life's flow
For as the wind blows on the horizon
Am I lost in my confusion
Nothing bought and nothing borrowed
Am I lost deep within my sorrow
As I long for yesterday
