Cackle As The Timbers Burn

Flurries fling the fairy’s lights among the forest in the night elves gather among the brush beneath the elms that look so lush

Cackle As The Timbers Burn

Flurries fling the fairy's lights
Among the forest in the night
Elves gather among the brush
Beneath the elms that look so lush

Salamanders watch the fire
Mischief makes the hearts desire
Cackle as the timbers burn
Alas the planet slowly turns

Gnomes have paved the way in clay
Passage marked upon the day
Undines would wash the earth
While the elves forged in the turf

Sylphs gathered heavenly spires
To quall the earth admits the fires
And tremble did the earth so sweet
Beneath the souls upon my feet

Raindrops fell without sound
The nature spirits gathered round

Among the forest there is solitude
Even when the thoughts intrude
Echoes among the formless mist
Murmur whispers among the twist
