Caught Within the Here and Now

Someday, somehow caught within the here and now turbulent thoughts have bewildered me but I have come to honour thee

Caught Within the Here and Now

Someday, somehow
Caught within the here and now
Turbulent thoughts have bewildered me
But I have come to honour thee

Flex not unless ye be misspoken
For I am more than a singular notion

False grains give way to lies
I have felt the passage of my eyes
In the vastness of my years
Collapse among the fallen tears

To have lived and loved unlike any other
Be still my heart, my gentle lover
So in as much as it is to say
Sway not within the verse of passionate rhyme
Nor beg before the nickel of time

For there are many different views
Beneath the sky amongst the hue
Pursuer hearts and hearts I knew
There are better days, beneath the sky so blue
