Cavity Among The Trees
Canvas of the hue so high
Clouds pass passively in the sky
Coverings, concaved in white
Set forth before the morning light
Lavender plumes fill the meadow
Primrose, flowered in the shade
Cascade of colour, as the flowers slowly sway
Cavity among the trees
Where now they rest the fallen leaves
Snap dragons, fire flies
Echoes whisper in the shy
Shallow ripples in the brook
Vestige be thy gentle look
Glimmer softly in the sands
Fledglings of the other hand
Passive be thy sediment, swift of hand
Perhaps I might just understand
