Deliver Me

To rest beside the river
By the light of a silvery moon
To catch one glimpse
Of the essence of your beauty
As I look upon your eyes
Deliver me from solitude
Beneath the stars that shine

If love could ever light the candle
That waits within the vessel of my heart
Would you even notice me?

As we passed like strangers in the night
Two lovers locked within passions blend
One moment cherished
Wanting, waiting to feel your breath
To honour the vessel of your loving heart
