Echoes Yearned
Abusers of bewildering blues
How is it right that you abuse
Through all the challenges of my years
I have felt the passage of my tears
Echoes yearned before the moon
And there was light that came to bloom
Basking within your gentle beauty
For I am born to honour duty
Praise I be the gentle light
Set before the world this night
For it was placed before my sight
And so it said, when it was read
Seldom is it said in truth
That we are born and bound in youth
Echoes yearn beside the moon
And there was love that came to bloom
Set before my very sight
I cherished her and held her tight
Solemn be the passage of time
Like grains of sand we leave behind
Mere memoirs of all and all for what
Thy heart had yearned and not forgot
And misty tree tops came to bare
The message that I long the share
