Fathers Eyes

The look in a fathers eyes
As he waits for the news
Of his new expected child

A touch of mothers tummy
While she sleeps late at night
The turn of the unborn baby
That fills him with a love
Brings tears to his eyes

The reaction of baby's movement
When father talks to mothers tum
That fills him with the gift of love
Blesses the fathers life

The day of baby's arrival
The father waits in anticipation
To see the child smile

The baby arrives
The father smiles
Then begins to cry
All for the love of a child
