Forgive Me If I Speak My Mind
Forgive me if I speak my mind
I'm tired of waiting here for you by the telephone
Every where I go, it seems there's always
Someone trying to use me, when I'm on my own
Tin can shimmy to fit for the stable
Coffee coloured stains etched upon the surface of the table
I thought I lost myself but it was hanging by thread
Others seem to think that I'll be better dead
Yesterdays dreaming, but I was never that stable
There was a time and a place to lay my cards on the table
Therapy breathes but are ever willing and able
If I sacrifice my thoughts, for just another scandal
Scenarios blend together, but is it to hard handle
Delicate light beside the flame of the candle
Would you ever be willing to give us a second chance
