From Deep Within Us All

Is it necessary in the modern world
To live with the conflicts
That we encounter in our lives each day
Do we really need the heartache or the pain

For if we, as a race of many nations
Could learn the errors of our ways
Then the world would be a better place
And would the future be certain in a world
Of constant change

With the concept of this change
The spirit of humanity would rise
From deep within us all
And the senseless act of war would simply fade way
With the prejuidces of mankind would be swept away
Upon the winds of change

For if we could learn the lesson of fellowship
As we move forward in our lives
Then the future of humanity would be brighter
Then it was just yesterday
