Grain Gave Way To Gratitude
Grain gave way to gratitude
When I found myself, in the place of solitude
Honeysuckle blooms aside the brook
And yet it had such a gentle look
Latent were the celestial lights
That burned above me in the still of night
A crested wave had lapped the shore
Where now it rests forever more
Alongside the clearing the brimstone burned
As the world around me slowly turned
And in the distance the thunder sounded
I felt the tremors passing through the ground
The gusty wind blows through the trees
As they rocked gently in the breeze
And suddenly I had seen a mighty flash
And there was lightening falling with a crash
As raindrops fell upon the ground
I heard it as a refreshing sound
Speechless I stood there within its awe
And I had heard the sounds that I adore
