To My Grandmother

On this your 80th birthday
We would like to honour your 80th year
By thanking you for all the sacrifices that you have made
Over the years to honour our families name

For you have been a loving mother and grandmother to us all
And in times of sadness you have always been there
With your love and support

For you have been a true light of inspiration to me
And to everyone who has had the chance
To know the presence of your loving heart

With little boys and bears and closet halls
I would like to thank you for all that you have done for me
And for the love that you've shown my wife and kids
I know that my children could never hope to find
A better great grandmother than the one they've found in you

So on this 80th celebration of your life
Please except this token of our love
For it is with the greatest of love
That we give this gift to you
