Harlot Of The Heathen Song

The hymn of sound, the sound of song
Besieged the night for it is long
Harlot of the heathen song
To mark the passage, in light of some

Mere words of sound that carry forth
Echo far within, the greater north
Seldom message written words
Scribe among the passage heard

Hail daylight as it breaks
Alas it is, as it were before the stakes
Tremble earth beneath my feet
Alas to taste of your earthly treat

Notable jester, suitably laid
Past the prism in the shade
Solvent creed by convened breath
With these three words alas, MacBeth

Nonsense rhyme, this is the season
No more sense, in senseless treason
Pass the homage in the well
By way of light and creed of spell

What light shines before the break
To shelter life for goodness sake
