Have You Ever Noticed

How the leaves fall in the middle of July?
Or the how a mist settles over the valley?
When the air is so dry

Have you watched?
How the ducks swim in the middle of the lake?

Take a moment sit there by the side of the lake
Day dreaming in the sunshine
While you're taking a break

Have you ever noticed?
How the trees sway?
When they're caught on
The spirit of the wind

Reminders of how it was before we arrived
In a world of beauty where nature thrived
And the clouds skipped through time
Singings in silence do you hear the earth chimes
