Hold On

Twilight falls the distant calling I listen as the rain is falling betrayer of hearts now carved in stone where are the thoughts that once freely roamed in the solitude of this twilight hour

Hold On

Twilight falls the distant calling
I listen as the rain is falling
Betrayer of hearts now carved in stone
Where are the thoughts that once freely roamed
In the solitude of this twilight hour
Where is life and where is the power
As the rain falling gently in natures shower
Holding on to false given hope
Hanging by the thread of a golden rope
Consumed by the fire
I felt the heat of my own desire
As the veins collide and turn to dust
Have I succumbed to my errors, as I rusted
Lost by the words, that I've said in the day
As innocence subsides within this thick haze
Am I lost in the darkness caught in this maze
No need to sit there on the border of the shelf
Hold on with your heart, have pride in yourself
