I Am Whole

One breath within the absence of time
One light, the burning candle
So enticing yet inviting
Warmed by the feel of your touch
Your presence soothes me

For your scent is like a wild rose
Your eyes so gentle and cool like mistiness of rain
For heavens sake hold me beneath the stars
Warm my frozen heart,

Through the years be there to guide me
And yet never let the tears
Tear our hearts apart

For I am whole beneath the heavens
You are the light of sweeping change
I could never hope to find
Another candle with the essence of your flame
Because of you my heart is always humble
And I will never be the same
