I Have Come To Honour Thee
Soloist leads to solitude
And there are thoughts that I exclude
Matters creed and I impart
That there's a voice within my heart
And I have felt and known so well
That there are things that I can tell
For I have felt the stars above
And basked beneath the sea of love
And like the vessels in the sea
I have come to honour thee
For there are feelings in my heart
And there are passions that I impart
Suppose, I was the lonesome dove
That soared among the clouds above
No man knows better then I do now
That there is sweat upon my brow
And there are tears that I impart
And there are things that break my heart
For there are foes that I must endure
And beauty holds me in its lure
For even when my love is pure
There are the thoughts that I endure
