Inconceivable

Is it so inconceivable that one might perhaps
Take one breath more before I collapse
Hash with those harsh words if you must
But for what, one moments lust
Behind closed doors,
And hear the screams of souls appalled

Venture forth and forthwith young banyan, but alas beware
Beyond the darkness there is fear
And that is where the innocent tear
With tired eyes void of cheers

By slender stead and lance and spear
I shall not surrender with doubt and fear
Even when my day draws near
Nor shall I shed a single tear

My quest is noble and void of lust
So I must abide to this and not be hushed
Less I be silent, then live with fear
For in the streets I hear their cheers
Blessed be this time of year

What light has came and given forth
Beyond the void far in the north
For here upon this shaky ground
I hear a thousand hooves without a sound

For I am burdened to this abyss
And to you my love, one last kiss
Before I succumb to the endless mist
