Internal Rhyme Within My Heart

Aware of what I have become beneath the light of yonder sun in fields where the children now run blemished by deeds that sort me out before this land of endless drought

Internal Rhyme Within My Heart

Aware of what I have become
Beneath the light of yonder sun
In fields where the children now run;

Blemished by deeds that sort me out
Before this land of endless drought

Sprouts by which, the seed is sown
Within this world I am alone
A prisoner of this place, where I now roam

Internal rhyme within my heart
Where tears are shed and now depart
There once was life, within this heart

For none have come to seek me out
Within this land of endless drought

Attributes, bordered beyond the great divide
That lingers here beyond the expanse of time

Hollow now I have become
Beneath the light of yonder sun
