Kevin The Kiwi
Forages in the forest late at night
Beneath the southern skies
Beside the pale moon light
In search of his favourite food
This native pure delight
Digging in the soil in search
Of worms and grubs
A tasty platter of pure delight
For any little kiwi
Beneath the southern skies
Foraging in the bushes
On a pale moonlit eve
In search of ants and bugs
Sleeping among the forest leaves
And all the other things that he likes
To wander down beside the brook;
To only drink before he looks
He loves to splash around a lot
