Less Ye Be Shaken
Betray, less ye be deceived
Shall I surrender before I leave
Ghostly encounters I sought in truth
And I remember days lost within my youth
May I jest beneath the sky so azure
And to innocent eyes do I seem as pure
Nymphs had whispered in pure delight
Set forth before me that sacred night
Plato surrender at my feet
Nourished by tears the fallen sleep
Were my words merely carved in stone
Where I had roamed in Caesar's home
Begotten foe from the banished land
The final hours are here and close at hand
Where chariots await within the sand
Less you live then you be taken
Sought less ye be shaken
Echoes whisper in the wind
And that is were new life begins
