Letters Of The Soul

Faded words written upon the dusty pages
Faded memories of a journey through life
Reflections of a soul lost to the passage of time

Tears of joy memories of heart felt emotions
Tell the tales of loves first tender kiss
The love of a woman then the day of wedded bliss

Tears to mark the pages, memories a cold reminder
Of those who've fallen to the ravages of war
Gone but not forgotten written is the message
to us all that life is worth living

Memories of a child's first steps
Then a fathers tears of joy as they run down his face
They mark the passage titled my son is on his way

Memories of life's passage written for us all
Reflection of a souls journey into life
Memories recorded by a man
Titled the letters of the soul
