Living Earth
As the planet breathes in silence
As we pass like strangers in the night
As we sit before the sunrise
Waiting for the first rays of light
Watch as the river rushes to meet the sea
The sweeping winds blow across the sandy plains
As I listen to the roar of the crashing waves upon the ocean
The seeds of the harvest of life
Shall sow the seeds of new beginnings
All along the valley, the trees sway in the breeze
The flowers grow the seed is sown
As the planet basks beneath the heavens
In the moonlight
The motion of a wave
As the winds sweep through the trees
Lightening flashes from the heavens
As the earth trembles beneath your feet
Are we alone in the universe?
Second to none, are we really the only one?
