Sonnet: Love By None Other

Love by none other then the one with the flame
Beset beneath the stars this night
My heart sings with your presence by the sound of your name
Beneath the stars to hold you tight
To have loved and not been loved by you
Behold the stars that burn so bright
Wherever I’ve been my emotions rain through
Set before this sacred right alone with you upon this night
Alone in the darkness warmed by this brew
I know that my heart dwelt here before the light
Beside the flame my heart beats anew
Could this be heaven for it feels so right
Lanced by the tip of cupid’s bow
I’ve walked amongst the fallen snow
