Measure Of A Man
Some are born from mortar
Others from flint and stone
But the measure of a man
Is his and his alone
For the measure of a man is nothing
Without the beating of his heart
For the body can be broken
From the flesh down to the bone
The body may very well be our temple
But we are not made of stone
For the man is not important
Without the pounding of his heart
For we must all stand-alone
For the measure of a man
Is his and his alone
