Mercy Me In Absolution

Quivering hand before the sun and there is hope that the day has come what light is shed and shed in hollows beside the pit where vipers shallow

Mercy Me In Absolution

Quivering hand before the sun
And there is hope that the day has come
What light is shed and shed in hollows
Beside the pit where vipers shallow

Glorious victory within my sight
Beneath the stars that burn so bright
I challenge all that I hold dear
Even when my end is near

And I am not the noble slave
And others hope that I am saved
Venture forth my yearning heart
For there are tears that I impart

In light of Venus whispers speak
On hollowed ground for I am meek
Bravest be my thoughts I deed
Beside the light of heavens seed

Out stretched I rest my weary hand
My promises made before this land
With hope that you might understand

That I've known loves light so well
Beside the gates of heavens spell
Cherished be those thoughts in flight
Alas farewell before the night
