Moonlight On My Windowsill

Moonlight on my windowsill I touch my heart and feel the thrill somewhere, someday, somehow I'll be better off then I am now

Moonlight On My Windowsill

Moonlight on my windowsill
I touch my heart and feel the thrill
Somewhere, someday, somehow
I'll be better off then I am now

So long to the sad tomorrows
No longer shall I hold on to sorrow
Neither shall I beg or borrow
As I look upon the new tomorrow

Sheltered be the tears I shed
Scatted thoughts inside head
So long to the world I leave behind
No longer shall wait upon this dime

Shelter me from pouring rain
Longing to be just the same
Beside the soul that lays in wait
Beyond the seal of heavens gate
