Nectar Of The Haven Blue

Beneath the hue, the southern sky
Where now I rest in paradise
Silhouette, a sea of blue
Clouds pass slowly among the hue

Nectar Of The Haven Blue

lyttelton harbour

Beneath the hue, the southern sky
Where now I rest in paradise
Silhouette, a sea of blue
Clouds pass slowly among the hue

Passing shadows among the grey
Thoughts are trapped among the clay
Rustic were our rocks and land
Shaped in essence by gods hands

Once a upon time, the crater rocked
Tearing forth, among the locks

Hew the day beneath the sun
Among the clouds, where sheep now graze
And there is beauty among the haze
Heaven knows, thy place I praise

Diamonds glisten softly on the bay
That is the beauty, of diamond bay

Where now I walk with earthly feet
To see thy beauty, twice as sweet
Nectar of the haven blue
Among your haven, my heart is true

The image was taken during my writing trip, through the Crater rim walk around the hills of lyttelton harbour here in Christchurch, New Zealand
