Never Shall The Twain Twice Meet
If I sneak a peek, before I seek
Would the world look twice as sleek
What unturned rock would hold the answer
I could have been your private dancer
I've felt the serpent coil that burns the skin
And burdens me with earthly sin
I've felt the tears of my fellow kin
And wept to know, the deeds that cast their sins
No lies give way to absolution
Just brings about a sense of born confusion
One heart opens, yet another is broken
Sometime things are better left unspoken
Are we lost to comprehension
One notion leads to apprehension
Never shall the twain twice meet
Beneath the stones of these cobbled streets
