Nevertheless

Nevertheless, I feel your longing
It leaves me breathless in your presence
I feel your love and know your essence
When I'm with you, I'm swept away

There are no words to express these feelings
Exquisite beauty, I know there meaning
This love of ours is worth believing
It is you that I am feeling

Thoughts may come and thoughts may go
By the feelings that we have shown
I feel your warmth when we're alone
You're always there to ease my pain

Nevertheless, I am here and you are near
There is no need for you to fear
I'll be here to hold you tight
While we are sleeping in the twilight

Nevertheless, suffice to say
That time stands still, when you are near
