Nickel Passed Among The Chimes

What is time but that measured of man
With the concept to understand
Nickel passed among the chimes
Sands amongst the sand of time

Celebration, hypocrisy among the nations
For there are times in isolation
Thoughts are turned amidst the hue
Combine beneath the blue

Perched among the parchment page
A moment caught upon the age
Serpents coiled in the seams
Caught among unspoken dreams

Concept captured, breathes in time
Mark the passage of my mind
Thine, thy question with no regrets
For there are times the heavens spent

Tears, the river rainbows bend
Among the heavens in the trend
Soloist made the words I speak
Among the shadows, for I am meek
