One Time Perhaps

One moment in time and time elapsed
Perhaps applause before I collapse

One round they gather ground
Perhaps an echo without the sound

Shun the day the noonday sun
Perhaps a dance before I run

So lapse around the candle fire
To quall the hand of my desire

One heart is like the deepest ocean
Pure in thought with a single notion
