Momma do you think tonight
The world will turn around and be right
Do you think they'll stop the bloodshed
For when you come to think of it
What are they fighting for

For I don't understand the reasons of war
I don't understand what they're dying for
What would you do if it were up to me and you
Would you stop the killing
Or just continue with it to

Someone fires a bullet into his head
He was so young and now his also dead
I don't understand the reason for this lost of life
So I asked the question I ask you right now

What is the point of war
What are they dying for
Do we really need these wars

I don't understand the reasons of war
I don't understand what there dying for
What would you do if it were up to me and you
