She Is The One

For many a year
I have watched her
The apple of my eye
To sit a while and watch her smile
To catch a glimmer of the warmth within her eyes
Leaves me breathless by her side

Does she even know how much I love her?
And that she is the one that sparks the fire
That burns deep with in my heart tonight
To hold her in my arms
Beneath the shimmering skies
As we watch the stars in silence

For in her presence, I come undone
For she is the light beneath the golden sun
Will she ever long to know
That she is my only one?
