Silk Serenade

Carried by the winds of change
White sails glisten in setting in the sun
The sandy shore that rustic look
A mighty roar, as waves crash upon the distant shore

The speckled flight the stars this night
That glisten in the heavens
Majestic sight, brings hope
That we are not the only light
As we drift among the stars, in the longest night

I rest and ponder with the greatest ease
As the breeze passes swiftly among the leaves
Palm trees sway like on parade
By moonlight folly the night cascade
The soulful sound, silk serenade
