Simplicity
A cascade of light upon a sea of blue
As the clouds drift slowly across the morning sky
Like gentle waves that lap the shore
The weary traveler comes to rest forever more
The scent of wild roses in the month of June
Where field flowers come to bloom
Beneath the light of a silvery moon
A hint of this sweet summer kiss
As the breeze passes gently through the mist
Sway beside the riverbed
As the leaves drift slowly over head
The river bends to greet the sea
A blend by fate, yet destiny
Simplicity in all its finery
Forged long ago within the mist
