Sombre Mourn Among The Mist
![]()
Sombre mourn among the mist
As dawn awoke to winters kiss
Nestled in the heartland green
Picture rest in beauty seen
Walking through the sunlit plains
Beauty nestled in the frame
Was I caught in paradise
To catch a glimpse before my eyes
Sleepless were the misty peaks
As I felt the earth beneath my feet
Wild flowers seem to bloom
And there scent, just seemed to loom
As two travellers marched along
Rhythm bound in earthly song
Hail the South Seas, by its crest
And there is beauty at its best
The picket fence without a gate
Towards the heavens stairs would wait
Beneath the heavenly haven blue
Snow covered peaks, in distant view
Silently, the winds appeared
Sombre mourn this time of year
