Throb, Thy Heart Is Open

Throb, thy heart is open slender be thy breath within to stand before an endless ocean and watch the sea gulls carried on the wind

Sonnet: Throb, Thy Heart Is Open

Throb, thy heart is open
Slender be thy breath within
To stand before an endless ocean
And watch the sea gulls carried on the wind
Dim the daylight fades to grey
With grains of sand upon my feet
Farewell to you, fair summers day
And to the memorise, I love so sweet
Surrender daylight into the night
To warm thy hands and touch my heart
Beneath the sea of celestial light
And like no other, feel my heart
No noble deeds may come to me
Beside the ocean, before the sea
