Sonnet: Until That Day
Entwine me once and take me twice
Quilled by you, with gentle hand
To feel the essence of cool crashed ice
In a hope that you might understand
I felt the seed of loves delight
When you were resting by my side
Beneath a sea of glistening light
I felt neither fear nor longing to hide
With baited breath, I breathe you in
And felt the pulse beneath the skin
So this is where our love begins
For in our soul we are like kin
Be the one my heart enslaves
Until that day, where we both mark the grave
