Sonnet: With The Sound Of My Voice
Impartial am I, to the path of immortal thoughts
Acceptable am I to the unacceptable nature of things
Instrumental in the way of things, and what is taught
I shall not desire such earthly treasures, such as richness brings
My own council shall I keep, there is only time before I sleep
For I am not burdened nor afraid of the aftermath
Assumptions can be misleading when my heart is deep
For it is unnecessary for me to take this path
What burns beneath the skin that I now wear?
That underlines the beating within my heart
And what would make me think that you would care
With the sound of my voice my breath imparts
With the message of my gentle heart
For it is in my true st form, that I am like a work of art
