Still Waters
Still waters glisten upon an ocean
Caressed with the morning light
With the coming of a wave
The still waters fade from sight
All along the shore line
You can hear the crashing of the waves
As the land is swept away
By the torrid current of destruction
Crushing everything in sight
The might of natures wonder
Will dance upon the daylight tide
As the trees sway in the breeze
Not aware of the oceans plight
For as stars shine upon the ocean
As the day turns into night
It is the might of natures wonder
That will dance upon the evening tide| Poetry 1 | Poetry 2 | Poetry 3 | Poetry 4 || Poetry 5 | Poetry 6 | Poetry 7 | Poetry 8 |
