Tainted Breath Upon My Lips

Tainted breath upon my lips bleeding now, as I watch the blood that drips is this how my life escapes why is it now that I hesitate while others watch and sit in wait

Tainted Breath Upon My Lips

Tainted breath upon my lips
Bleeding now, as I watch the blood that drips

Is this how my life escapes
Why is it now that I hesitate
While others watch and sit in wait

Light streams forth upon solemn ground
Why was I born of this unpleasant frown

Less I speak, for I am meek
And now I've grown so tired and weak
Beneath the stars, my soul to keep
There is no need for you to weep
For now I rest in gentle sleep

Withered tears, of those fallen years
For in my mind my end is near
And soon my light shall disappear
There is no need for you to fear
